Find any payment under **Payments** and open it. The timeline lists every step with its time.

* **`CREATED`** — In plain words: A payment was started.; What you do: Nothing.

* **`PRICE_LOCKED`** — In plain words: The buyer confirmed and the price is held for a short window.; What you do: Nothing.

* **`PAYMENT_PENDING`** — In plain words: Waiting for the buyer's transfer to arrive and confirm.; What you do: Wait. See [stuck payment](https://help.mayarin.xyz/troubleshooting/payment-stuck).

* **`ASSET_RECEIVED`** — In plain words: The buyer's money arrived.; What you do: Nothing.

* **`CLEARING`** — In plain words: Mayarin is converting it to your settlement asset.; What you do: Nothing.

* **`SETTLING`** — In plain words: Sending it to your wallet.; What you do: Nothing.

* **`SUCCESS`** — In plain words: You are credited. Final.; What you do: Fulfil the order.

* **`FAILED`** — In plain words: It did not complete. The timeline says why.; What you do: See below.

Only fulfil an order on `SUCCESS`.

## Failed

* If the buyer's money **never arrived**, the buyer must start a new payment.

* If it **arrived but a step failed**, use **Retry settlement** on the payment once the cause is fixed. Nothing is paid twice.

* A quote that expired fails with `QUOTE_EXPIRED`. Mayarin never re-prices without the buyer's consent, so they start again.
