Paying takes about two minutes. You send crypto from your own wallet or from an exchange.

## Steps

1. Open the payment link the merchant sent you. The order summary on the left shows what you are paying for and the total.

2. Under **Choose how to pay**, pick the **asset** and the **network** you hold, for example USDC on Base. Use **Search asset or network** to find one quickly.

3. The page shows **Estimated total in** your asset. It refreshes every 15 seconds, or press **Refresh price**.

4. Optionally fill in the **Return address**. See The return address below.

5. Choose **Continue with** your asset. The exact price is now locked for a few minutes.

6. On the payment page, send exactly the amount shown to the address shown. Use **Copy** for both. You can also scan the QR code.

7. Keep the page open. It updates by itself: **Waiting for payment**, then **Processing payment**, then **Payment successful**.

## What the page shows you

* **Send exactly** — the amount to send.

* **Network** — the chain the address lives on. Only the asset you picked on this network counts.

* **Address** — where to send it.

* **Time left** — the price is locked until this runs out.

* **Reference ID** — keep it. Support will ask for it if anything goes wrong.

## The return address

On the checkout there is an optional **Return address** field. If the payment fails after you have already sent the funds, they go back to this address. If you leave it empty, we may not be able to send them back automatically, and you will have to contact support.

What to enter:

* A wallet address **you control**, for example the wallet you pay from. Choose **Use wallet** to fill it in.

* **Not** an exchange deposit address. An exchange can credit the wrong account or reject a transfer it did not expect, and the money can be lost.

* An address that works on the network you are paying on. An address for another network is not valid.

If you see **That is not a valid 0x address**, check the characters. An address starts with `0x`.

If a payment fails after your money arrived, Mayarin waits a short time in case the payment can be fixed, then sends it back to your return address. You do not need to do anything. If a payment expired and you sent nothing, there is nothing to return. If you sent money and a refund did not arrive, contact support with your Reference ID.

## When it is done

The page says **Payment successful** and the merchant has been paid. You can close the page. Use **Download receipt** if you want a copy.

* You do not need to create an account.

* The merchant chooses which assets and networks they accept, so you may see a short list.

* Never send a different asset or use a different network from the one shown. See the article on wrong amount, asset or network.
