The price and the timer

Crypto prices move, so checkout works in two stages. Before you continue: an estimate The amount under Estimated total in is a guide. It refreshes every 15 seconds, and Refresh price updates it now. It can change between refreshes. After you continue: a locked price When you choose Continue with your asset, the exact amount is locked for a few minutes. Time left counts down on the payment page. Send the exact amount shown before it reaches zero. If the timer runs out The page shows Payment expired. Nothing is taken from you. Start a new payment from the merchant's link and you will get a fresh price. If you already sent money just before it ended, keep the page open and wait. If it still shows Payment expired or Payment failed, see the article on a failed payment. If the price cannot be locked You may see Unable to lock the price, This payment method cannot be priced right now, or We couldn't calculate this price. Check your connection and refresh the page, or pick another asset or network.

Is it safe? Common questions

Who is Mayarin? Mayarin lets merchants price in their own currency and get paid in a stablecoin. You pay with the asset you already hold, or in your local currency. Mayarin handles the conversion in between so the merchant does not have to. Do I need an account? No. You didn't need an account to pay just scan and send the exact amount that you pay about. Do I need a crypto wallet? Not if you pay in local currency with an e-wallet, QRIS or a bank transfer. For crypto you send from a wallet or an exchange. You only need to connect a wallet to use buyer protection. Does Mayarin hold my money? Your payment is sent on to the merchant. With buyer protection it is held in an escrow that follows fixed rules, and Mayarin cannot move it anywhere except to you or the merchant. What does Mayarin know about me? For crypto, only the wallet addresses involved. For local currency, our payment partner verifies your identity and takes the payment. Mayarin passes your details on and keeps none of them. What languages does checkout speak? English, Indonesian, Malay, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified) and Brazilian Portuguese. Use the Language dropdown on the page. The page says Testnet The banner Mayarin Testnet ─ Payments use test assets and have no real-world value means this is a practice environment. Do not send real money. Will Mayarin ever ask for my seed phrase or password? Never. We never ask for your seed phrase, private key, password or exchange login. If someone asks, it is not us. How do I know the link is real? Check that the page loads from the merchant's link and shows the merchant's name under Pay. Never send money to an address someone gave you in a message. Only use the address shown on the payment page, and only for that payment. Who do I ask about my order? The merchant. They decide about delivery and refunds. Mayarin helps with the payment itself.

What each payment status means

Find any payment under Payments and open it. The timeline lists every step with its time. - CREATED — In plain words: A payment was started.; What you do: Nothing. - PRICE_LOCKED — In plain words: The buyer confirmed and the price is held for a short window.; What you do: Nothing. - PAYMENT_PENDING — In plain words: Waiting for the buyer's transfer to arrive and confirm.; What you do: Wait. See stuck payment. - ASSET_RECEIVED — In plain words: The buyer's money arrived.; What you do: Nothing. - CLEARING — In plain words: Mayarin is converting it to your settlement asset.; What you do: Nothing. - SETTLING — In plain words: Sending it to your wallet.; What you do: Nothing. - SUCCESS — In plain words: You are credited. Final.; What you do: Fulfil the order. - FAILED — In plain words: It did not complete. The timeline says why.; What you do: See below. Only fulfil an order on SUCCESS. Failed - If the buyer's money never arrived, the buyer must start a new payment. - If it arrived but a step failed, use Retry settlement on the payment once the cause is fixed. Nothing is paid twice. - A quote that expired fails with QUOTE_EXPIRED. Mayarin never re-prices without the buyer's consent, so they start again.

I sent the wrong amount, asset or network

Checkout tells you exactly what to send. Only one asset on one network counts: the Send exactly, Network and Address shown on the page. You sent too little Send the rest to the same address before the timer ends. Transfers add up. If the timer already ended, contact the merchant with your Reference ID. You sent too much Contact the merchant with your Reference ID and the transaction hash. Mayarin cannot decide whether an extra amount is returned to you. Your exchange took a fee out of the amount Some exchanges deduct their withdrawal fee from what you send, so the payment arrives short. Withdraw a bit more than the total, or pay from a wallet you control. If it arrived short, send the difference to the same address before the timer ends. You sent a different asset Only the asset shown on this payment counts. Anything else is not matched to your payment. Contact the merchant and your wallet or exchange provider, and share your Reference ID. Do not send again until you know where the first transfer is. You sent on a different network Only the network shown counts. A transfer on another network does not match the payment, and the payment will expire. Sometimes funds sent on another network can still be recovered, but that depends on the case and is not guaranteed. Contact support with: - your Reference ID - the transaction hash - the asset, the network you used, and the network you should have used Do not send the payment again before you hear back, or you may pay twice. How to avoid it Compare the network name on the payment page with the network in your wallet before you confirm. Send from a wallet, not from an exchange, if you can.

Webhooks are not arriving

1. Open Webhooks → Deliveries and search for the event. If a delivery is listed, Mayarin did send it. Read its result. 2. Wrong URL or environment. Testnet and mainnet have separate endpoints. An endpoint added on testnet does not exist on mainnet. 3. Your server answered non-2xx. Mayarin retries after about 1 minute, 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 2 hours and 12 hours, then marks the delivery dead. Fix the server; later events will arrive. 4. Signature check failing. Use the exact raw request body and the endpoint's signing secret. Re-saving or re-parsing the body changes the signed bytes. A delivery older than five minutes is rejected. 5. Firewall or redirect. The URL must be publicly reachable, and a redirect may drop the body. 6. WooCommerce. The endpoint is https://your-store/wp-json/mayarin/v1/webhook and the same signing secret must be in the plugin settings. Still nothing? Send support the delivery id and the endpoint URL.
